Blind passengers, welcome on board


Following several months of hard work, effort and enthusiasm, today, the International Day of Disabled Persons, we’ve managed to make our app 100% accessible for blind passengers! At Cabify, we continue to achieve our goal of having a positive impact on the cities where we operate, ensuring everyone who lives there can get around easily.

But... how does it work?

We’ve managed to make our app compatible with the screen readers that blind people use on their devices. Our programmer and accessible software expert Jonathan would be the best one to explain.

A 100% accessible service

Not only is the app accessible for blind persons, but the entire service is, too! We’ve provided help and advice for our community of drivers so that they can offer an adapted experience (of five-star quality, of course) for blind passengers.
